Fabricator & Assembler

Summary

Full time, Monday–Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Starting wage is $10–16 per hour depending on skills and experience.

Job Description

Assist in the production of QuickLoadz automated trailers using various hand and machine tools to build and attach various parts, materials and equipment to custom trailers.

Assemblers will:

  • Use appropriate tools and fixtures to assist with the installation or complete the installation of parts, sub-assemblies, and modifications
  • Read diagrams and document processes
  • Build components to specifications
  • Assemble machined parts and attach bolt-on metal assemblies
  • Prep and install hydraulic components
  • Fabricate and assemble various undercarriage components including, axles and brake systems
  • Follow quality assurance and safety procedures
  • Work under general supervision but is responsible for quality and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues with supervisory support and work on a variety of tasks
  • Work proficiently within a team environment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as specified by job
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required
  • Able to train and learn from co-workers in job skill transfer
  • Maintain good attendance and zero tardiness
  • Detect non-conformances /defects during build and during operator verification
  • Move material with forklifts and dollies
  • Work overtime or weekends on occasion

The associate should be mechanically inclined and skilled in the use of hand, air/power tools (e.g., drills, grinders, impact wrenches, c-clamp and rivet guns) The associate will interact with and support other Shop Associates and Subcontractors in the performance of these duties. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and will perform any and all duties as requested. Tack welding and overhead crane knowledge a plus.

Physical Demands

  • Requires sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time
  • Requires frequent bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing and reaching above shoulder level

Marketing Associate

Summary

Full time, Monday–Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Starting wage is $12–15 per hour depending on skills and experience.

Support online and offline marketing and advertising initiatives with the goal of expanding brand awareness within targeted relevant audiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic initiatives, program execution, content development, project support, sales programs, as well as via ad hoc requests.

Description

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns, content marketing, product positioning and other projects
  • Expand industry research and B2B sales development
  • Design online/print ads and publications; write, edit and proof content
  • Measure performance of marketing activities using Google Analytics and other reporting tools
  • Manage and track social media accounts
  • Support day-to-day operations including marketing campaigns and promotions
  • CRM management: Maintain databases of prospects, clients and vendor databases
  • Participate in trade show and live event marketing and management
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales objectives
  • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence and explore new ways to reach and engage our target buyers

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years marketing experience
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Experience in website CMS, email marketing, CRM and Analytics
  • Basic HTML / CSS
  • Graphic design skills in Adobe Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
  • Experience with office applications, specifically spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets)

Sales Associate

Summary

Full time, Monday–Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Starting wage is $12–14 per hour plus commission. Salary compensation will be commensurate with experience. Relocation expense is NOT allowed. The position is located in Athens, Ohio.

Under the direction of the CEO, CFO, and VP of Sales, the Sales Associate sells heavy-duty trucks and trailers to various markets including mobile storage, construction, freight, U.S. Military, international aid organizations, city and state governments, etc. The Sales Associate is tasked to follow up on customer inquiries and close new product sales. Customer data will be cataloged in Salesforce CRM and metrics will be reported weekly.

Description

  • Promote and sell QuickLoadz patented heavy-duty trucks and trailers
    • Manage potential and current customers in Salesforce
    • Make outgoing calls and emails to establish accounts and develop new accounts
    • Manage incoming sales inquiries and follow through to close new sales
    • Build an active prospect list to help develop markets and maximize all sales opportunities
    • Develop and present sales proposals to customers
  • Create best practices and improve processes
    • Develop and maintain sales discussion templates and seller transcripts
    • Manage and/or contribute content to social media including YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
    • Identify target prospects and create strategic action plans to convert prospects into customers
    • Actively assist with web/print marketing
  • Develop and manage documentation
    • Maintain accurate documentation in reports and other internal communication
    • Ensure accurate data catalogs, price sheets, bulletins suggest substitutions or exchanges
    • Document sales visits and update customer order/account information as needed
    • Review sales and vendor reports and discuss growth opportunities with management
    • Develop monthly/quarterly sales reports to include: call reports, customer status, and information on competition, new products/services introduced, and pricing issues
  • Provide excellent customer service
    • Evaluate customer needs and match them with appropriate QuickLoadz products
    • Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to provide ongoing support
    • Ensure customer issues/problems are resolved within 24 hours
    • Finalize all invoice transactions, completing the ownership title work and the associated lien filings and transfers, arranging for temporary licenses, registration and coordination of the associated financial contracts involved in buying and selling commercial vehicles
    • Deliver trucks to customers and complete sales processes as necessary
    • Document sales taxes and Federal tax obligations in collaboration with the CFO

Required Skills and Experience

  • Must have excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite Products and Salesforce, and working knowledge of similar ERP systems
  • Experience in data management or process management preferred
  • Experience in supply chain or logistics preferred
  • Experience building effective relationships with vendor
  • Excellent listening and problem-solving skills combined with strong ability to negotiate.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

SolidWorks Engineer

Summary

Working with engineers and technicians, this position will be responsible for maintaining all documents related to products and processes. They will also work closely with the quality and production departments to make sure all appropriate people have access to documents. This includes creation, revision, maintenance, and filing of component and assembly drawings; revision, maintenance, and filing of work instructions; working within and developing improvements to our engineering change order system; and creating, revising, and maintaining all raw material specification documents.

Job Description

  • Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, & Purchasing to provide documentation as needed
  • Validate incoming parts per QC standards
  • Create, revise, and finalize drawings in Solid Works
  • Update & maintain all drawings & documents associated with Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
  • Format, revise, and maintain raw material specifications (RMS)
  • Revise & maintain production instructions
  • Support engineers and engineering technicians as needed
  • Plan and execute electronics projects, building machines from diagrams
  • Draw, update and interpret wiring diagrams
  • Assist in the installation of wiring harnesses on QuickLoadz systems
  • Build, repair and quality check microcomputer controller systems

Essential Skills Required

  • Minimum 2 year degree in drafting or engineering. Applicable experience may be substituted for educational requirements at a 2:1 ratio
  • One to two years of demonstrated skills in CAD packages such as Solid Works or AutoCAD
  • Experience using and or administrating SolidWorks or other PDM Systems is a plus.
  • Must be able to quickly attain the ability to create a Solid Work drawing from a sketch or model.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite particularly Word and Excel

Production Assembly Supervisor

Summary

Full time, Monday–Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Starting wage is $16–20 per hour depending on skills and experience.

This position will lead daily production operations. Supervise a team of 7 to 12 assembly specialists, mechanics and hydraulics installers. They will be a hands-on leader who will work with production employees to run and improve the operation. Electrical Engineering Assistant

Summary

Working with engineers and technicians, this position will be responsible for wiring systems and maintaining all documents related to electrical system products and processes. They will also work closely with the quality and production departments to ensure quality and efficiency. The EE Assistant will be tasked with creation, revision, maintenance, and filing of component and assembly drawings; revision, maintenance, and filing of work instructions; working within and developing improvements to our engineering change order system; and creating, revising, and maintaining all raw material specification documents.

Job Description

  • Work as part of a team of engineers, fabricators and assembly technicians
  • Design, fabricate, and integrate electronic systems as part of an integrated technical team
  • Create, edit and interpret electrical diagrams/schematics
  • Assemble, test and troubleshoot control systems and/or wiring harnesses
  • Perform design, analysis and testing of equipment and systems involving power electronics and electrical systems
  • Evaluate and update inventory of control systems and components
  • Work with other personnel to ensure integration of work activities and work planning
  • Write operating procedures, recommendations, test procedures and test reports
  • Develop and update documentation and process descriptions
  • Troubleshoot and debug existing systems within customer service warranty protocols
